back to school
I had a very good sleep last night after taking the cough medicine but my bladder keep bursting and I have to wake up and go to the toilet 4 times! I wondered what happened? I didn’t drink alot of water mah?
I went back to school this morning to pay my school fees. I really missed the feeling of alighting at the MRT station, then walking through Junction 8 to school.
I MISSED SCHOOL SO MUCH!!!
The school is undergoing some changes. The nursing classrooms are being demolished and rebuilt. The Retail Hub is being built right next to the SC room and the Co-Op members will be transferred from the Co-Op shop to the Retail Hub.
The admin office is also preparing for the admission of the January intake. I saw Miss Wong, my department head in the admin office and I have the urge to complain to her about our attachment with POPULAR but she was busy and I didn’t get the chance to talk to her.
After paying the fees to Annie, the admin officer, I went to clear my locker to for next semester. I can’t wait for school to start! There are so many things to do when school reopens!
There is the January intake Orientation and the CO have to put up a performance to recruit more members. Then, there is also the CNY performance too.
I also hoped to resume my SC duties soon!
After leaving school, I went to have breakfast at Long John Silver. I have been eating at Long John Silver quite frequently this month. Blame it on their waffle-fries la! So tasty-yummy-licious!!
Then, I decided to go IMM to buy minced beef for Dexter. While traveling on the MRT, I took out a book to read and as I was flipping through the pages, a stack of $50 notes unexpectedly appeared between the pages! I’ve almost forgotten about the money that I had to deposit into my bank!
The person sitting next to me saw it too and had a surprise!

I just went to see the doctor this morning and I was given two days MC.
I will be having my OFF on Wednesday, so that means I don’t have to go to work for three days!
Whoopee! Heck with the lousy job!

It has been a turbulent year for me and I don’t wish for anything. (as if anything that I wished for would come true!)
Oh well, I have a very un-Christmassy Christmas this year just like the year before, and the year before that. No well-wishes, no card, no nothing¡
There is no festive mood at all and I have not even been to town to see the Christmas decorations! The whole morning was spent watching Animax on SCV. They are showing this Cardcaptor Sakura marathon and I ‘ve watched almost 20 episodes of the anime back-to-back!!
I’m not a fan of the show but I find it quite nice. There was nothing else to watch on TV so I just watch it lor.
I woke up this morning feeling terrible. My asthma is coming back and I have a lot of phlegm. My chest feels so painful when I tried to cough them out.
Tomorrow is Sunday and I still have to work. Why does this damn attachment seems to last forever? I still have two freaking more weeks to endure!!
Anyway, exam results are finally out. I’ve got an A for OFC and EFC but a B for SES. I have studied sooooo hard for it but I still couldn’t get an A!
GPA is only 3.6 and I’m very disappointed with myself. I’ve tried very hard to excel but it seems I’m just destined to be a failure.

whiny bitch
The moment the BITCH is back to work, she is trying to be difficult with me again. Initially, she barge into the storeroom, whining about a couple of price tags that are sticking on the floor but nobody is paying attention to her.
Being the silly person I am, I tried to be initiative so I took a penknife and go to scrap them up.
Naively, I thought everything is okay already but moments later, she barged into the storeroom again, complaining that the area where the price tags were previously is now stained black after customers stepped on the sticky patch.
How else does she expect me to remove them then? Lick them off with my tongue? She is never pleased with anything I do!!
Luckily, the manager was there right beside me and she told the BITCH such stains are very common and easily removable by mopping. I guess she’s hopping mad now that the manager is speaking up for me.
It won’t be long till I get out from this god damn place!

That BITCH is on OFF today and so are my department people.
I’m the only person left to do store receiving but it’s okay because I have already learnt the ropes and I could handle everything by myself.
Does she think that I’ll be handicapped without my department people around?
I bet it’s another evil plot of that BITCH to tekan me. She jolly well know that Mondays to Wednesdays are the busiest as most suppliers rushed to send off their goods at the beginning of the week so she must have planned our OFFs in such a way that I will be left alone to do everything!
Try harder next time, BITCH!
Though I am very busy with endless suppliers to attend to but never mind, there’s nobody to breathe down my neck and nobody to kajiao me. My productivity was even better than other days when my department people were around.
Maybe they shouldn’t come back at all?
grievances nowhere to pour!
I have a stomachful of grievances to pour today and it has got something to do with that BITCH!
The moment I stepped into the store this morning, I saw the Monami pens scattered all over the table. When the BITCH saw me, she started mumbling that I had left my work unfinished and she had to ‘kio sai’ for me.
I had already started tagging the Monami pens when I received them two days ago but halfway through, my department head instructed me to leave the pens one side first and attend to the customers outside as we are shorthanded.
With Christmas round the corner, there are still alot of customers doing last minute shopping. Furthermore, the primary schools are starting school soon, so there’s an influx of parents buying school books for their children. As a result, the cashiers are shorthanded to handle the crowd and I may even have to help out with cashiering these few days as the queues are really long.
My department head asks that BITCH whether I could continue with the pens during the weekends as it was non-urgent and that BITCH had said YES!
So, I reminded her that it was with her permission that I left the pens aside.
Then she started grumbling again why I had printed labels for some of the pens and I explained to her that the barcodes on some of the pens are different from the Purchase Order. She didn’t trust me at all and wanted to see the Purchase Order so I just gave her what she wanted to see. After she has seen it with her bloody own eyes then only did she kept quiet.
That BITCH has been keeping me under surveillance all day. I have caught her peeping at me out of the corner of my eyes for quite a few times already. Her bloody gaze keeps following me wherever I go just like how a hawk observes its’ prey.
Why must she make my life so miserable? Am I so irksome? Or was it because I am slow? But hello, I’ve been here for only two weeks! How fast and efficient does she want me to be? Though I may not have lived up to her expectations, but I have already put in my best! What more does she want from me??
What I observed at the store the past two weeks, is totally different from what the HQ has told us during the briefing. One of the points that we are reminded to do is to put a SMILE on our faces but what I see at the store was smelly faces especially that BITCH!
Soon Ho is also not very happy working at the Majestic branch either. I keep telling him that its only two weeks more and just bear with it for the sake of the money yet, I have thought about quitting myself.
I think this has got to be my most depressing and disheartening holidays ever!
I really wished the school holidays would end soon.

When I just stepped into the store this morning, the uncle from the warehouse has already delivered 8 boxes of textbooks and we’ve not even open for business yet! I have a premonition that this is gonna be a busy day for sure?
True enough, all morning was spent PLU-ing, checking quantities and tagging prices. There’s alot of paperworks to be done. Some of the Purchase Orders and Invoices doesn’t tally at all and I have to find out what causes the discrepancy and for goodness sake, the description of the items on the Purchase Orders and Invoice are not the same!
Furthermore, there is no barcode on the Invoice at all then how am I supposed to check? Why didn’t they have a standard description for all the items?
The Supervisor is being anal again! I think she is not getting enough sex from her husband lah but who can blame him? Who would want to fuck that abhorrent face?
Dunno why am I saying this, but.. but… I’m missing school already…

Today is a very busy day!?
Stocks have been coming non-stop all morning and before one consignment is finished pricing, packing and tagging, another consignment arrives! I’ve been?on my feet all day running here and there to do?PLU, check price/barcode?and tons of paperwork.
However, one consolation was?the Supervisor?is on OFF!
No cheesebye face for a day!!
Near closing time, the other staffs at her department said, “Quick pack nicely!! When she comes back and see this mess tomorrow , we will all get it from her!”
I’m on OFF tomorrow!! YEAH!! No cheeseby face for two days!

I’m getting quite sick and tired of my attachment at POPULAR.
I dread going back to that place because my Supervisor is making hell for me. I don’t want to see her cheesebye face but I have like yet another fifteen more days to go before the last day of my attachment!
Whilst I’m there, I tried my best to be a good worker. I am humble to my fellow colleagues, I follow instructions from my superiors and seniors, I take the initiative to help the other departments when I’m less busy and when in doubt, I asked questions.
I also tried to apply what I’ve learnt in school to good use. When a customer asks for something, I’ll stop whatever I’m doing and attend to their needs first. If they need something, I’ll bring them over to the shelf where they can find what they want however, what the Supervisor does is just to point at the direction and say, “Over there” without even looking up. There is absolutely no eye-contact or Customer-First mindset at all!
When customers wanted a new piece of a product, I’ll help them to search through the shelves for it. Even if I knew the product may already be sold out, I’ll still pretend to help them to look for it.
Like that, they can see my effort and be convinced when I told them that there are no more stocks. At least, it will be more convincing than just to tell them straight without trying.
I simply cannot stand her condescending attitude. As a new staff, there are a lot of things that I do not know so obviously I have to turn to her for advice but whenever I asks her a question, she would be very impatient with me.
I don’t understand why the hostility towards me? I didn’t owe her any money what?
I do understand that sometimes we can get so busy that we’re may not be in the best of moods but for her is every day her mood is like that!
Isn’t a senior (Supervisor some more) supposed to teach and guide the junior staffs along? If it’s such torment to teach her juniors or serve her customers, then just quit lah! Why make herself and the people around her miserable???

I’ve just returned home yesterday from the camp and I can feel my whole body tearing apart. I feel so stretched out! 
I’m suffering from post-holiday blues and severly exhausted. 
My thigh muscles feel so tight now I think they’re gonna snap any moment now so all kinds of BIG actions are out for me.
I can’t go down the stairs without looking like a cyborg with poor hand/leg coordinations yet I’m back at work today and I’ve worked for 12 frigging hours! My department people are not in today so I just hid myself in the store and do my own work. I’m feeling very, very sleepy…
